Most of my commentary is toward the bottom of the article, let’s get the “current events” out of the way.
Yesterday, April 2nd, President Trump announced Liberation Day, a sweeping new schedule of reciprocal tariffs on the rest of the world:
Rand Paul and the three worst Republican Senators in Congress responded by helping out the Democrats:
Senator Rand Paul has gone on the offensive against the Trump administration’s tariffs, stating they are the act of “one person”:
This is obviously, wildly untrue. Trade policy was a key feature of Trump’s Agenda 47. From the campaign website we see:
The American people elected Donald Trump, knowing some measure of trade war would ensue.
Let’s check in on Murkowski, a Democrat pretending to be a Republican You don’t have to read it closely because it’s just sentimental slop that Alaskans seem to like:
Here’s one of the most cogent replies to her tweet:
Canadians don’t like right wing America. Only the Albertans and a few farmers from Saskatchewan are even decent.
The LGBT-affirming liberal dictators of the other Rothschild tax farms have begun to retaliate:
The liberal stock market is way down and the lying media is running around screaming worse than when Biden started a new war with Russia:
Israel tried to frontrun the tariffs, obviously having foreknowledge about the schedule going into place, by waving all tariffs against America the day before Liberation Day:
Trump put a tariff on Israel anyway, heheh. Israel must be in a state of panic. Par for the course?
Let’s zoom in a bit on the main libertarian arguments against tariffs. From Grok:
So basically, just let all other countries of the world levy tariffs and regulations against the United States but raise restrictions on imports and exports domestically. This opens the door wide open to trade trumping:
This also opens the door wide open to currency manipulation. Trump has asserted China has been cheating their currency for undue trade advantage, since day one of his political tenure:
Libertarians just want American politicians to roll over and not respond in-kind to foreign politicians because somehow this will stop offshoring, nor do they ever factor in mass migration as a firm economic policy set since 1965 that colors everything else. What this has resulted in has been the importation of a new overclass of Democrat, striver elite - now firmly embedding themselves in the national security apparatus as means of seeking permanent economic “tenure”.
What libertarians don’t ever mention with respect to the whole “let the world decide how it will specialize labor” is that:
A) foreign nations engage in technology theft literally all the time, often through their citizens that come to America on tourist visas
B) foreign nations don’t actually innovate and move civilization forward after gobbling up all the labor and industrialization
The best that foreign nations seem to do after pilfering the Rust Belt out of America is to build skyscraper bugman cities. At worst, they import McDonalds and become seed-oil shells of their former selves, playing Jewel Quest, scratching their bellies, and killing the atmosphere with moped emissions. Yeah, sure, let’s let them take all the labor work and somehow import their…anchor babies, later.
This is the point where I think libertarians are the strongest but then they hold their conventions and smoke marijuana shirtless on stage and keep electing sperg r*tards as their POTUS candidates. Who wants to rave dance at a New Hampshire campground? Statism is evil, mannnnn.
Libertarians would look a lot cooler if they had the might of an industrial base beneath them but the best they can do is agorist bake sales and standing outside New Hampshire village courthouses with wildly generalized slogans markered onto signboards. There is no coherence among the libertarians, just a committment to striking down “godheads” and you wonder where they picked this up from (Mises? Dave Smith? Friedman? Hayek? Rand? Early life check?)
The psychology of libertarians is all wrong and so when a big toady guy like Trump rolls into town and actually puts the men back to work, they have no answer - just childish rebellion.
Trump, in his first term, reduced regulations more than libertarians ever did in their entire existence. He freed Ross Ulbricht, their drug guy, and did a few token gestures for Bitcoin which have helped the price stay in the higher tens.
If libertarians were consistent, they would rail against the largest tax program in world history: demographic replacement. Even more than the world wars, demographic replacement will prove to be the costliest, largest government program - by a lunar mile.
If libertarians were consistent, they would factor the tariff schedule against mass migration and the giant sucking sound of jobs leaving America, that has been at deafening levels for 40 years now.
Unlike the 1890’s or the 1930’s, there won’t be an American status quo to sit around comfortably in while the Democrats slowly bring the walls in.
America is thoroughly cooked and Trump is swinging for the fences.
Rand Paul wouldn’t have the balls.

You will be unsurprised that the leader of the NH libertarians is one of the bankers. Murkowski shouldn't even be in congress. She lost a runoff to Joe Smith, and had to steal the election through a write-in campaign. People couldn't spell her name; she was screaming illegible scribbles obviously meant Murkoswki.
